On Tuesday we were honored to stand onstage as the winner of the Newcomer in Technology Award at the 23rd annual Innovator Awards event held by the NCW Tech Alliance.
On a personal level, I think the coolest part of the event might have been when watching a group of students from Wenatchee High School accept the award for Future Technology Leader of the Year. It was fascinating to hear them talking about the teachers and parents that pushed them to get involved in the project and the amazing impact it has had on their young lives. The future is bright in tech (especially ag tech)!
I also want to give a special shout-out to Noe Flores and Eliseo Aguilar from Fiopin. It's exciting to meet young founders, especially when their business is so easy to like. If you are in Grant, Douglas, or Chelan counties and want high speed internet from a genuinely local provider, check them out!

p.s. Interacting with the growing community of innovators here in our home state of Washington helped me appreciate the importance of organizations like NCW Tech Alliance. They are working tirelessly to advance a mission that is closely aligned with ours: to bring people and technology resources together. It is more clear than ever that farmers who embrace the benefits of tech and harness the power hidden within their own data are positioned to thrive in 2025 and beyond.
